yule log



on the 14th of december i made a yule log the chef made the cake  all we did was mix up cream and iceing sugar and the spread it over the cake and then added berries and rolled in to a log the topped with choclate iceing and sprinkled iceing sugar over the top.

treacle tart

on 23rd of november i made treacle tart and i think it went well accept the pastry went a bite flacky to start i put butter salt and flour in to a bowl and and rubbed it together with my fingers til it was like bread crums and then tiped it on to the table and needed it.and then rapped it in cling film and put it in the fridge.
for the filling i put golden syrup and bread crums then added some lemon juice and sturied it till it bioled it then let it cool down then i roll out the pastry then put it in the tin then add the treacle mixture then cook to golden profection.

beef stroganoff with rice

on wednesday the 16th of november i made beef stroganoff in cream and smoked papprikia sauce and to start off i cut up to beef fillets up in to stripes.and browned them off in the pan and then i browned mushrooms and onion and then added the browned meat and mushrooms and onion and then added whipped cream and smoked paprikia and the boiled some rice in a pan with a pince of salt and lube up a cup and push the rice down with the back off a spoon then tip it out on to the plate then serve up the beef stroanoff.
i havent made it before but i think it went well and it tasted nice.

poched pears in red wine


This is what I made on the Wedensaday 9th november 2011.
we started by peeling three pears then added 300ml of non alcholic wine in to a pan then added 3 star and easts and 5 tbs of sugar 1 full orange and juice and a slice of lemon.and bioled it for fourty minites and the placed them on to a plate then put the due back on the hear to reduce it to a syrpe like substance then drissle it over youe pears and the chef made use a cinemon cream to put on the side :P .
